Practicalities in advance

The Erasmus scholarship is meant to cover the student’s cost of living abroad. ALT School of Theology agrees to do our best to help the incoming student to arrange lodging in Örebro during the three-month visit. However, the prior contact between the student and ALT School of Theology should primarily take place via the Erasmus co-ordinators at respective institutions.

For information about Swedish culture and everyday life, see VisitSweden.

During mobility

The Erasmus co-ordinator makes sure that each incoming student is welcomed and provided with necessary information about practical and administrative arrangements, especially during the first welcome week. The school cooperates with the students’ union that provides volunteer local students to assist incoming students and make them feel welcome. In addition we provide each incoming student with an academic mentor who is responsible for dealing with potential problems related to academic issues.

The Erasmus co-ordinator has continuous contact with outgoing students and staff, as well as the co-ordinator of the host institution, to make sure participants are well taken care of.

Transcript of records

At the end of your Erasmus+ mobility period you will receive a transcript of records (free of charge) containing a full, accurate and timely record of your achievements, which you can provide to your home institution. You may require a transcript of records showing the historical distribution of awarded grades in the degree programme. This information will be provided in a standard table form using the simplified ECTS grading table.

Non Erasmus Students

At this point we only welcome students from institutions with which we have an established co-operation. These students may take any of our English speaking courses and we will do our best to solve all practical matters. The contact between the student and ALT School of Theology should take place via the staff of the home institution.

Non-Erasmus students must contact the Erasmus co-ordinator Maria Karlsson before sending in their application.
